PURCHASING BEACH FRONT PROPERTY AT CRUCITA BEACH.

I recently traveled to Ecuador to view property,I had been in communication with a local Ecuadorian named Jorge Loor Zambrano who through the Emails had recommended staying in Guayaquil the first night and gave me information to pass on to the hotel desk to call a executive bus that would pick me up at hotel and drive me to Portoviejo for $12.00 and suggested a new hotel called the Ceibo Real Hotel. I arrival in Portoviejo and checked in to the Ceibo Real Hotel and it was very Nice and the staff were very accomadating.

Jorge had called the evening to check up on me and said he would come over to introduce him self which he did and gave me a tour of Portoviejo explaining some of the Ecuador's strengths and weakness which I related to other countries. The next day we started off by looking at a few properties that I had search out on the Internet along with properties Jorge had lined up to view, it was a long day however he made it enjoyable by good solid conversation and interesting sights along the way.We stopped at a beautiful Hotel in Crucita called Ocean Blue which was very clean and friendly with a pool and the staff were oh so friendly and helpful the Owner, Gina and her family were great,so Jorge arrange for me to stay the remainder of the week there and get to know the area,which turned out to be just down the beach from my new properties. We had looked at a lot of property and we were burning day light so he dropped me off at the hotel and said we would talk the following day.

 I had narrowed my search down to purchasing beach front property and Jorge was a great sounding board for me as we sized up the Pro"s and Cons he was instrumental and helping out with back ground information on choices of attorneys to property tax rates to over all Knowing the area which is worth its weight in Gold. I had made my decision on what I was going to purchase and Jorge set me up with a attorney that he felt was the best in the business her name was Florideva Zambrano (No relation to Jorge)who spoke fluent English which was great because my Spanish is Lacking! Florideva had all paper work signed sealed and delivered to me prior to me leaving Ecuador (met Saturday morning,completed Tuesday afternoon WOW) that is unheard of anywhere in the world and I appreciated the way in which they conducted themselves very professional.Jorge had prior business in Guayaquil,so he arranged for me to go to the attorneys office with his mother Liliana and what a joy it was to meet her and spend a delightful afternoon including a very nice lunch at her home she even took me appliances shopping to give me an Idea of what prices are for i.e.:fridge,stove,electronics etc very reasonable compared to Canada and States.

I am Pleased to have met Jorge and his family and could not have done the purchases of 2 beach front properties with out his assistance,Jorge in my opion is a must have when traveling in a Country like Ecuador were as a foreigner we have disadvantages with both the Language in the mannerism of the local people who I think after traveling extensively through out both the Caribbean and Mexico,Panama,in South America are the most helpful and genuine people I have ever met. I have since returned to Canada and still keep in contact with Jorge and look forward to talking with him and look forward to when I return to Ecuador which is soon and hooking up with Jorge once again .I believe this is only the start to a great friendship,and Jorge you can be my wing man any day.
